Another image from my trip to the Southern California desert last fall.
I need to make time for more adventures like this in 2016.

I want to taste the salt of ocean's kiss
tangled in an embrace.
I want to dance with giants
that lean into infinity
and whisper secrets beneath the stars...

It's raining today and I'm trapped inside with the flu. This image is a nice memory of a good times with friends on a recent trip to the beautifully wet Emerald Falls in the Columbia River Gorge.
This medical building, on a former Georgia State Hospital campus, was constructed between 1928 - 1929 and named after the hospital's superintendent at the time. It closed in 1979 and has been abandoned since.

This was an experiment of sorts, that came to fruition after finding an LED flower branch at a craft store.
This image, of Lower Yosemite Falls, was taken during my first visit to Yosemite, back in 2012, with a large group of Google+ photographers.
Tonight, I'm heading back to Yosemite National Park for the fourth or fifth time. I'm looking forward to getting outside, back in nature this weekend. It is also fantastic that it is almost a full moon, there's fresh snow in the valley and it's also 'Firefall' weekend.
I caught a gorgeous sunrise from the Marin Headlands last Friday.
When I woke at 5am, I expected to see the webcams covered in fog, but the fog had retreated during the middle of the night. I headed for the Headlands anyway, because I was in the mood for an adventure.
When I arrived, at least 10 other photographers were set-up and waiting for sunrise. As you can see, fog or not, it was still a beautiful morning.
Pano taken on the catwalks inside an abandoned power plant in Alabama. This plant once powered the nearby Beaunit Rayon Factory, which has since been demolished.
